Hello world!

Hello everyone…Ryan here.  Welcome to my blog!

I have just begun my journey as a day trader.  I decided a few months ago that this who idea of working for someone else is not for me.  I went looking for something that I could get started quickly, had minimal overhead, no employees, had long term potential, and had no ceiling for how much income you could earn.  Well it took me a couple weeks, but I’ve found it: being a TRADER.  The coolest thing about it is that all you need to get started is cash (less then $20k, a fast computer, and a sponge for a brain.  Since I posses all three things, I thought I had to look into it.   The  goal I have set for myself is to be able to substitute my current income with trading in six months or less so I can quit my job and trade full time. 

I will be posting daily accounts of this adventure of mine for at least six months, then depending on where I am as a trader, either continue or give it up.  There are two main reasons for my blog: the first is that I want something I can look back on in a month, six months, a year from now and be able to look back at the failures and successes of this venture and be able to reflect on what I have, or have not accomplished.  The second reason is that maybe someone will stumble accross this blog someday and learn something or two about day trading.
